Nice Eating Place in the East.

I have been saying I have been eating alot of late.
This weekend is the best proof.
But Im glad to have some nice food and also discover some new cool eating places.

On Sat after facial at Tras Street, went to the nearby Maxwell Market for the nice fish soup which I hasn't had it for ages.
If I didn't rber the stall name wrongly, it is called Xin Hua.
I love their mix of green and red chilli padi in soy sauce - SHIOK!
Soup is also fragrance with lots of fresh fishes.
Anyway, this is not located East, but just wana blog about it.
Hehe.

At night, kok recommended a place which he said was mentioned by HIM who don't rber at all.
Haha!
The road name is super stylo - Jalan Tua Kong.
It's a nice chill out place serving main course and finger food.
Of cos, alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks.
Their special fries is nice but definitely not their sausages mixed (except the cheese sausage is nice).
The location is also as stylo as the road name.
It is in between lots of ang moh chus, really like you won't expect to see it there.
And, beside it is a car-grooming shop.
Saw lots of nice and expensive cars.
On Sunday after feeling bored, went to surf for interesting places for brunch and desserts.
Then I chance upon Obolo which I saw on some foodblogs months ago.
And since its not far away, we went there.
Oh man, it is one of the best food place explorations so far.
I wana upload some pics showing the pastries we had but, my comp bu zhen qi now. :(
Uploaded in FB anw. :)
Had the DIY set which includes 1 cake, 1 scoop of ice-cream and 2 macaroons.
Total bill was around $21 which includes 1 long black and 1 earl grey.
Kinda on the high side but its really worth it.
Would go there once in a while as it is very relaxing too.
Highly recommend the New York Cheesecake (with 3 huge strawberries) & Salted Caramel Macaroons!
Yumzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Was actually thinking since its a shophouse, why the boss dun open the 2nd floor for seating area as the level 1 could only accomodate mayb 5 tables of 2.

Anw, something caught my attention after I ordered - Creme Brulee ice-cream.
Creme Brulee is superb but I wonder how it will taste when its in ice-cream form.
