Happy Wedding Anniversary!

15th will be pa's and ma's 26th yr wedding anni!
I remember the yr cos ma say just 1 yr before im borned.
Hehe.

Usually if we celebrate or bring them out, ma will go guessing what is the occassion.
And, if she knows she will confirm with us.
This time round, very lousy, still need me ask and hint her.
Haha.
Ok la, think she tired out by work.

Brought them to Irvin's Seafood Cze Char at River Valley area.
It's the eating place at the corner of the stretch of shophouses.
The shop has this big yellow banner saying something like "$18 for Sri Lanka crab".
Always been wanting to try.
And, since pa and me love crabs, brought them there today!
Oh yes, online reviews were good too.
A pity fy sick so ah ger and him can't join us.
Hope he is feeling better now. :)

We ordered 1 salted egg crab, 1 steamed crab, oyster omelette and kailan.
First of all, totally stunned by the kailan.
Think we forgot to add the word "baby" infront when ordering.
We were served with HUGE stalks of kailanssssssss.
And, mind you the chef did not chop/cut the stalks for easy consumption.
My pa just kept repeating "I don't know how to eat".
HAHA!
The oyster omelette I thot was ok but seems like parents find it too oily.
Ok, now time to compliment the shop and the signature dish - crab!
The salted egg crab is their must have.
Oh man, this is true.
Thou crab was not big ($22 can't expect much. The other crabs are for $18.), it was so fresh.
The sauce was so tasty.
I kept scooping it to go with my plain white rice.
Ar 1 bowl of rice cost us $1!
So sad, should have shared cos we didn't manage to finish our rice. :(
As for the steamed crab, ma and me quite like the steamed egg white that goes with the crab.
The crab was not as fresh as the other we had.
But, I would say for $18 its fine.
Overall, we paid $78.22.
Pa pay instead of me cos people won some money today.
Hehe.
But, Im to pay for the 4D.
And, winnings to be split.
Haha.
