Smarter or Not?

Its been months since I last call a bank for credit card purposes.
Oh means I have been paying bills on time.
HAHA!
Anyway, I was trying to call U*B to waive off my annual fee.
Already kind of prepare my speech.
"What is the $60?"
"Annual Fee ya? Ok, can you waive it?"
"Oh you cannot, then cancel my card for me."
For a consumer who always don't exercise her rights, I think Im quite brave to prepare to say that liao.
But hor, wah, after pressing 0 to try to speak to an officer, there are now more options for you!
And, theres one specially for Financial Chargers to Credit Cards.
Then after which you will be asked to key in your mobile and credit card numbers.
If your request is approve, it will be reflected in your next statement.
If not, the officer will call you.
As I was telling sy, I think by default is approve.
Smart hor, avoid officer getting scolded by customers.
But in the 1st place, waive the annual fees for life lor just like R*S then won't need to entertain all these request.
Hmmmmmmmm.
Btw, Im not an advocate of R*S cards, don't get the wrong idea.
Still I must say, I got some nice welcoming vouchers for signing up the free for life card.
