Calista Returns II

This is the second time Calista return to Singapore for her holidays.
And, we met up on both occassions!
Feel so good to be able to do so. :)

We met up 1hr later than planned.
Calista needed to go and collect her med (Hope your condition will improve soon).
I could have arrived 15mins earlier which I planned to.
But know what?
I must thank SMRT.
I got delayed for at least 25mins in total.
Anyway, we decided to go for Jap restuarant.
Calista had some allergy probs and gotta avoid lots of food.
And, most imptly, we love Jap dessert.
Haha.

We had a good laugh at the name of the restuarant as Calista anyhow flipped and point to "Soba so Good" when I asked what is the name of the restuarant.
We were like where got such a name.
And, coincidentally, it really turned out to be what she pointed.

My Nabeyaki Udon.

Udon is a verynotChuWee food.

But, its nice!

We couldn't find an appropriate dessert on the menu which we really want to have.

Calista and me were both looking for Matcha ice-cream with Red Bean.

After a long discussion, we decided to order Matcha ice-cream and adding Red Bean.

I was telling the waitress I want 2 scoops TOGETHER and add Red Bean.

She kept repeating I want 2 sets.

I gave up after repeating myself also and hence we got these.

You can act as if you never see the above picture as I feel it will somehow make the dessert look less yummy.
See the below which I prefer.
Wah, the scoop of ice-cream is huge.

The scoop of redbean also kind of surprise us as its quite enormous too!

Very nice!
I think 1 bowl is around $6.75.

The 3 of us! :)
She will be back only next Dec. :(
Hope she will continue to do well in her studies and get an Internship in NYC which she wants to.
