I realise from Feb til now, I visited 3 new eating places which I would like to recommend to you all.

Aston

It serves yummy western food at a real cheap price.
Considering it being restuarant-like, offer wide variety of food and preparing really delicious food, the price is really very low.

If I did not remember wrongly, for each main ordered, you can choose 2 sides from the list of maybe 5 or so sides.

Hickory BBQ Chicken with Mash Potato and BBQ Beans (Baked Beans).
The Mash Potato is very very Yummy!
Actually, I prefer the baked beans served direct out of the can instead of BBQ-ing them.

Grilled Fish with Herb accompanied by Fries and BBQ Beans.
Fries were average.
The fish was fresh and soft.
The herb sauce was fantastic.
The herb taste was not very strong so I believe most, like my sis, who dislike herbs can still take it.

Total damage only $16.20, including an IBC Root Beer.
NO service charge if you realise.

I visited the branch at East Coast Road.
After surfing, then I came to know theres actually lots of Aston branches around Singapore.

Essential Brew

Went there to relax on a Friday Night after dinner.
There are 2 storeys and we went to the 2nd storey.
Seats at the upper deck are cushions on the floor.
Saw people hanging out there with friends and partners.
Good place to chitchat with close friends or catching up with big groups of friends.
There are magazines too and some brought along games to play.
Quite a relax feeling.
Dessert's variety, in my opinion, is actually quite limited.
But, they do serve quite interesting stuff.
Oh yes, ah ger said she went there for lunch before.
She did not enjoy the food at all as the food all has some weird tea taste in them (remember the shop is Essential Brew. Haha!).
Dessert was so-so.
Guess if they improve of food, it will be a super popular place for youngsters.

Strawberry Cheesecake.
I prefer Secret Recipe's.
It mixed Strawberry with the Cheesecake instead of having different layers of the 2.

Hm, Cool Blitz or something.

Old Town Cafe

1 of the eating place at Playground (previous Big Splash).
A nice supper place.
Just that its a bit out of the place.
Famous for coffee, especially White Coffee I think.
It should be a cafe that originated in Malaysia.
Serves lots of beverages.
Serves lots of drinks from toasts to rice and noodles.
