This is what happened in the lift earlier on my way back from work.
I was in the lift.
Saw this mother with her son.
From far, I could see her fake Agnes B bag which is the same model as mine.
I felt abit paiseh thinking I will be in the lift with her carrying a similar bag.
I looked away.
Still, a conversation started.
Translated version as below.

The Auntie (toks to son): Her bag same as Mummy's hor?
And, she turned to smile to me.
Me (trying to look surprise and smiling) : Oh Ya Lor, same.
And, I see the logo on her bag was faded.
That's another difference I can spot in addition to those I can spot previously.
The Auntie (with a not very anticipating to hear an answer far from what she is thinking): You spent how much on it?
Me: $190+.
The Auntie (looked at me with eyes wide opened and then managed to calm down and thot she corrected herself): $19 ar?
Me (smiling): $190+.
The Auntie: HUH, $190?!?!
And, she kept waiting for my reply.
I nod.
The Auntie (nonchantly pointed hers): I bought it at $16. Yours Authentic ar?
Me: Hehe, ya lor.
The Auntie: WAH, you can bear to spend so much on it hor?
Me just smile and nod.
The Auntie (repeated the price of hers again): Mine $16 only.
We walked out with me thinking the fullstop is in place.
Oh what a one-sided wishful thot that was.
The Auntie: But fake one also very durable leh. Go market see. Every Tuesday got people sell.
I couldn't stop myself and I asked her for details!
And, she goes on til my doorstep.
