Ok, got all the photos le! Hehe.
But, a bit lazy to type and type.
Let me summarize the trip with where we went, what we did and what we ate for the 5 days.
Of cos, with some randomly picked fotos! :)
Day One:
Bought the Airport Express and 3 Days MTR tickets.
Checked In to YMCA International House, Mongkok.
Btw, we got free upgrade to the Executive Room. Yuppie! Really nice!
Went Elements, a new shopping centre @ Kowloon Station.
Had dinner @ 夏面馆. Oh my, they serve very nice Xiao Long Bao. But, the noodles were so-so.
Heard its a popular restuarant over there.
Peishan then went to her sis place to pass her stuff while I shop @ Elements.
Its a bit like our Paragon with lots of branded goods. But, almost all brands you can think of can be found there.
OMG, the Summer Sale there is really much better than the GSS here.
Guess tops were as cheap as 20+bucks. A pity, don't suit me.
Coach there already cheaper than Singapore's for most designs. After the sale, OMG! I bought 1 wristlet there which cost me about SGD56!
H&M is quite a popular brand there and also for tourist. Kinda like our Topshop.
And, the Sale is super good! Bought a bag and bracelet @ 50%. The bag is only about SGD10.
Then, we went to Mongkok. @ BC Mall's SaSa, I bought my Biotherm cleanser and toner @ SGD60+ in total ONLY!
Didn't get much from the Nu Ren Jie and other street market and sports shops there thou.
And, I 1st tried the Xu Liu Shan, a famous dessert store. Oh my, really Yummy!
It was raining except @ night til we were on the way to the hotel.
Day Two:
Tried Bo Luo Bao and Milk Tea for breakfast @ 1 of the shop @ Causeway Bay. Bit disappointed. No butter and pineapple in the Bo Luo Bo. :(
Went Esprit and Peishan buy an umbrella.
Then, Peishan brought me to Stanchart building after which she made her way to her sis' place.
Visited my HKG dealers and HKG MO colleagues. Took quite a bit of fotos. Especially those of the dealers to show my teammates. Enlarge the fotos and we can throw darts at some of them when needed. HAHA! HKG MO are really friendly. A pity, I couldn't accept their invitation to lunch. :(
Supposed to meet Peishan, her sis and nephew for lunch @ Elements but I was very late so I skipped lunch.
Went Disneyland! Spent about 200 there! OMG! Its quite nice but not very impressive.
Its raining still.
Day Three:
Went Jade Market and Wang Da Xian.
Then to..OMG forget where. I think Causeway Bay, TST and Central.Anyway, they are all shopping malls with lots of branded stuff again. Cos its raining and we can't really go places without shelters. Really alot of good bargains. But, I can't afford to buy so many of them. Hehe.
But, bought another Coach wristlet. Also around SGD56. 1 for my sis as an advance bday present. Hehe.
Went Yung Kee, the famous Roasted Goose restuarant. The goose was really delicious.
Think the meal costed us each approximately SGD 50?
@ Night went to Peak. Nice View but bad fotos as it was very misty and stuff. :( Peishan brought me to try Bubba Gump too. A prawn restuarant only found in New York and Peak. Then we brave the rain to Avenue of Stars to find my Andy Lau's handprint. HAHA!
Then the final stop of the day was to Temple Street. Bought accessories there. Quite nice to shop but a pity, the rain made us shorten our time there.
The rain was still on.
Day Four:
Went Macau. The waves were very bad that day. And, this stupid Ah Ti*ng Uncle wana act brave sit at 1st row when all the ferry crews stop him. He decided to still try and be brave and sat at the 2nd row. OMG, I was thinking wats the difference. 15mins into the sea, he started to vomit, making all the disgusting noise. We moved to centre of the ferry in order not to smell anything not too pleasing to our nose. Slowly, alot of people around us started to vomit. I was holding on with all my might. Then, 1 of the crew announced that the ride will take 10mins longer. I tell myself to REN. But, left 5mins more to reaching Macau, I bth and vomitted. :( But, after that felt much better. HAHA!We went Venetian, the new casino. OMG, shopping continues. HAHA!. Anyway, we both lost and didn't feel very right about the casino and stopped gambling like 30mins later. haha. And, there were some Ah Ti*ngssss there obviously out to cheat money as they try to talk to you and persuade you to bet on this and that. Baddies!
Nothing much in Macau we both think.Oh ya, we ran to get the ferry to Macau and back to Hong Kong as we were quite late. Never thought I would be able to do some exercise in Hong Kong. HAHA!.
Decided to go Mongkok to continue shopping myself as Peishan went back to hotel to rest.
And, the rain still did not stop.
Day Five, and final day:
Went Central to shop as we are meeting Peishan's sis and nephew for lunch at Mei Xim, the famous and expensive Dim Sum restuarant.
Polo Ralph's certain Polos were selling @ SGD70+ in the boutique after discount. OMG! So tempted. But, didn't get any as I seldom wear Polos.
Bought lots of chewing gums for colleagues from 7-Eleven while waiting for Peishan's sis and nephew. After which, took a long walk to the restuarant. And, we were told we got to wait 45mins for a table. But, ok la, during the wait had quite some fun with her nephew. So cute! hehe. Thou he is experiencing delay in speech but he is really smart. A 2yrs old kid can spell 500 words. What say you? Waited for 1hr+ and finally we got a table. The Dim Sum is really very Yummy! Especially the egg tart and har gao! But, expensive too. Each about SGD30+.
Can't remember where else we went. Hehe.
Oh ya, Peishan lost her boarding pass. Luckily, it can be reprinted without any fees. Tried Krispy Kreme doughnuts! Nice. But, I personally think its about the same as J Co. Hehe.
Our flight back was supposed to be 815 and it got delayed to 930. :(And, there wasn't airbridge for us even though its raining. Quite an experience for me to take the bus to the plane and climb up the stairs like any presidents or ministers who do that for photographers to take fotos when they visit another a country. Haha.Reached Singapore about 1+am.
And, I've got a surprise! :p
Overall, I quite like Hong Kong.
But, i still prefer Taipei and Bangkok. Hehe.
Its definitely worth it if you save up and go for the Summer Sale if you wana grab lots of cheap branded stuff.
Thinking of doing that for the next next July.
We shall see! :)
Ok, long post. Shall post pictures in next post. :)
