A combination of 門徒 and Blood Diamond, in my opinion.
Like the plot of both and hence, American Gangster too. :)








Shows how Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) built his herion empire after the death of his boss. Thou what he did seem cold-blooded, he just look so cool and grand. Gave me a different feeling as compared to other movies' drug kingpin. Denzel Washington really played the role very well. Thumbs upz! Frank had everything planned and hidden well. Everything went on smoothly til the lawman Richie Roberts (Russell Crowe) decided to investigate more about him. Richie had Frank arrested. But yet, they helped each other.
Watch it and you will know whats the ending. Unexpected, I would say. :)
And, this is base on a real life story. A plus point huh. Movies base on real life story always seem more attractive for me. Hehe.

Guys would enjoy the movie more I guess.
I would definitely NOT encourage it as an after-work-movie. Its a long long movie. 2hrs+. And I must say its a lil' too draggy for some parts.
But if you all wana experience what I experience, please watch it any nights, Monday-Friday after your work. HAHA!
