Have you all watched it?Unexpected I would say. Thot its just a plain Fantasy movie. Its one well complemented with humour. Find it similar to Pirates of the Carribean. If you enjoyed Pirates, you might do the same for Stardust. :)
Good choice of cast. Impressive and irresistable. Aren't real hunks. Aren't real beauty. Except for Michelle Pfeiffer I think. Hehe. All they do is to bring life to the novel. And they did it so well. Thou, Michelle Pfeiffer is beautiful, after the show you might probably remember her as the wrinkled old witch. I do like Charlie Cox's new look during the 2nd half of the movie. And its given by Robert De Niro. Haha. Robert De Niro's role simply made the audience laugh whenever he appears. Haha. Not to forget the Old Guard of the wall that seperates the human realm from what lies beyond. And his small stool. Few mins appearance. Lasting Impression.
In search of a Star (Claire Danes) for someone he (Charlie Cox) thot he loved. Only then he realised its really he thot. The search for the Star made him found his true love. The Star.
Everlasting youth and beauty. Thats what the witches (Michelle Pfeiffer and Sisters) want. They go all out for the Star's heart.
2 princes vying for the crown, has to get the Star too. As the 1 who can get the Red Diamond on her will be the King. Is it a Diamond? :)
Which deserves the Star?
True Love?
Everlasting Youth and Beauty?
Crown?
Watch the movie and you'll get the answer. Hehe.
Happy Deepavali too!!
