Unlimited Tries
855am Ferry. Delayed for about 15mins. I could have slept for 15mins more.
"Just 15mins leh~" Some of you might be thinking.
But for someone who can't sleep early and gets sleepy in the morning, its "15mins LEH!" Haha!
But its ok. Hehe.
With a hungry stomach, sitting in the air-conditioned and shaky ferry, I did get a lil' seasick. Forgot to bring things to munch. Once again, its ok. Hehe.
After the 1hr ferry, followed by a 2mins land transfer, we reached!
Changed and its photo-taking time. Hehe.
Takes about 2mins to complete 1 round.
The "hut" where we had the briefings. For 1st timers.
Life-vest and Helmets points.
For 1st timers, we were encouraged to try kneeboarding to get a feel of wakeboarding. Doing kneeboarding, its less likely to fall into the water til the 5 corners whereby you got to try and exert strength to move in the right direction.
Tried thrice. 1st and last try managed to complete almost the full round. Hehe. Its always the last corner.
Wakeboards are...Stylo hor? Hehe.
Anyway, after this picture, my ugly moments started.
Read on. Hehe.
Theres instructors guiding you by the side.
After listening to their advices, I always look at the cable nervously. When its about to reach, the instructors will go "Ready,1,2 and 3!".
Ok I really felt bad about it. They always spent few mins repeating their advices and shortly after I leave the dock, Im down in the water. And its really shortly after. Hehe.
But! I DID STAND ON THE WAKEBOARD for 1 sec. Not too bad for a 1st timer right?! HAHA!
The instructors are really very patient and encouraging.
I think this very pro instructor is called Maui.
He is really so good at it! Never fail at all. Omg!
He still talked to me, let go of one of his hands during the wakeboarding.
I asked him, "You very good hor?"
He replied, "Ya."
HAHA!
After this, I told myself I must be able to wakeboard on my own one day! What a carefree feeling to do that.
That sort of concludes my 1st trip there. We are planning to go again! Looking forward.
Got to remember to bring some snacks to munch on the ferry and to keep my stomach full. By the way, the place is quite deprived on food. Except the lunch box we ordered. Hence, its better to bring snacks or food along. :)
