At last I've watched it. Same goes for my mama and 3rd Aunt. They have been looking forward to catching it. Ok, now my mama will stop asking me "When you free to bring us to watch 881?" Opps. Hehe.

From the trailers, I always thought Qi Yu Wu is acting as a ghost. Haha. Never said a word throughout the 110mins movie. Unique role and quite suits him. Cos he looks so introvert and cool. :)

The 2 Papaya sisters carried out their roles very well too. Very into the mood. Got the "feel" which they apparently don't understand what it is in the movie. Haha. Really touched my heart when it comes to the sick Xiao Mu Gua and the driven-out-of-home Da Mu Gua. But I think the lady (pardon me for not knowing her name) who acted as Qi Yu Wu's mum really bring out the atmosphere and the culture of Hokkein language.

I wonder is it really potraying what performers of Getai go through before getting to show their talent or just to make a living on the stage. Its like there is only 1 month out of the 12 months every year they get to perform and earn on Getai, yet it does not come easy for them.

Anyway, not a bad show for me. Expected more as alot of people gave good feedback and asked me to bring my parents to watch it. Would prefer it more if the artificial effects were less. :)

Really have a strong urge to catch Ratatouille. Missed it twice. :(
